My love of German Shepherds began in 1987 when my husband Ed and I purchased
our first puppy, Schwartz der Wald's Targa. This boy was all I thought I
could ask for in a companion. Of course, when you have one, that is never
enough. In 1988 we welcomed into our home a German bred bitch called Abby
vom Lukos. These two GSDs were our constant companions for over 13 years.
We played in the conformation ring with Targa when he was a puppy and tried
our paws at Schutzhund with Abby but we didn't have the personal time to
devote to either of these venues at that point in our lives.
When Targa passed to the Bridge in 1998, we felt it was time for another
companion; that is when Krze's Jerry Lee moved in. With no intention of showing
him, I played with him in obedience and his instructors encouraged me to
get him in the conformation ring. Well, we did and our furfamily has grown
by leaps and bounds since then.
With the passing of my husband in 2001, I immersed myself into the dog
show circuit. With the guidance of my dear friend and mentor, Vicki Burkey
of Von Charisma
GSDs I am moving on to achieving my goals and dreams....to breed sound,
healthy German Shepherds, not only for the show ring but for solid, stable
companions for the home.
I hope you enjoy my site and visit with my faithful companions both here
and at the Bridge. This site is dedicated to my husband, Ed, who has helped
make all my doggie dreams come true!!
